Where our crews work

Commercial Cleaning Across Greater Melbourne

If you are searching for commercial cleaning near me anywhere in Greater Melbourne, Golden Star probably already has a crew working nearby. Our crews look after offices, shops, clinics, restaurants, warehouses and managed buildings in more than 45 suburbs, reaching from the city grid through the eastern office corridor, the south-east industrial belt, the western and northern growth areas and the Frankston corridor. This page shows how we cover the city, which suburbs have their own page with local detail, and what happens if your site sits outside our regular runs. Busy areas get dedicated crews who know the buildings, parking and access rules. What the service includes is set out on our commercial cleaning in Melbourne home page.

Coverage

Where do you offer commercial cleaning near me?

We offer commercial cleaning across Greater Melbourne, split into five working regions: city and inner ring, east, south-east, west and north, and the Frankston corridor. Each region has crews who work there most nights, which keeps travel down and gives your site people who know the area.

Each region has its own night crews and supervisor. When a site in one region needs extra hands, such as a deep clean or an unexpected event, the nearest region lends staff rather than sending someone across the city.

Grouping the city this way is practical rather than cosmetic. Commercial cleaning happens mostly in the evening and early morning, when traffic is light but time is short. A crew that cleans three offices in Box Hill and a clinic in Glen Waverley on the same night spends its hours cleaning, not driving across the city. That efficiency is part of how we keep prices steady.

The page counts show where we have written local detail, not the limit of where we clean. Crews also work in the suburbs between those listed, and a quick message with your address confirms which team would look after your site and on which nights.

The suburbs with their own page are the ones where we clean the most sites and get the most enquiries. Each of those pages explains the local mix of premises, access and parking quirks, and the services businesses there book most. Suburbs without a page are still covered; they are listed by region below.

CBD and inner

Which inner-city areas do you clean?

Inside the inner ring we work in the CBD, Docklands and Southbank, and in the suburbs just beyond them, from Richmond and South Yarra across to Port Melbourne, St Kilda and down to Brighton. Work here is mostly offices, retail strips, hospitality and apartment buildings, with after-hours access through building management.

The CBD is its own world. Office towers have loading dock bookings, security sign-in and strict rules about where trolleys can go. Shopping strips such as Chapel Street in South Yarra or Acland Street in St Kilda need cleaning before trade or after close, often with limited parking. Converted warehouses in Richmond and South Melbourne have polished concrete, exposed brick and big windows that show every smear. Our inner-city crews work with those conditions every week.

End of lease cleaning is also common in the inner suburbs, because of the high share of rented apartments, and many buildings have lift bookings and move-out rules that the crew needs to follow.

Parking is the other inner-city reality. Crews carry compact equipment that fits in a small van, use loading bays where the building allows, and plan visits around clearways and permit zones. It sounds minor, but a cleaner who spends twenty minutes looking for a park is twenty minutes not cleaning, and that eventually shows up in either the price or the result.

East

Do you cover the eastern suburbs?

Yes. Our eastern crews cover Box Hill, Glen Waverley, Ringwood, Oakleigh and Clayton, along with the suburbs between them. The east is heavy on suburban offices, medical and allied health clinics, education, and busy shopping centres.

Box Hill and Glen Waverley have grown into office and retail centres in their own right, with a mix of mid-rise offices, clinics and dining precincts. Clayton is shaped by Monash University and the medical and research facilities around it. Ringwood revolves around its shopping centre and the offices and services nearby. Oakleigh has a busy shopping strip and a strong hospitality scene.

The eastern suburbs are also where many businesses have more than one site, such as a head office in Box Hill and a clinic or showroom in Ringwood. Those clients usually want one standard and one invoice across every address, which our regional crews make simple.

Many eastern clients are healthcare and allied health practices, so our crews here are used to clinical-room methods, zoned equipment and cleaning records. Offices in business parks along the main arterials are the other large group, typically cleaned in the evening two to five times a week.

South-east

What about the south-east industrial and growth areas?

The south-east is one of our busiest regions. We clean offices, warehouses, showrooms and factories in Dandenong, Moorabbin and Braeside, and a growing mix of retail, medical and new commercial buildings in Cranbourne and Pakenham on the city's expanding south-eastern edge.

Dandenong and the industrial estates around Moorabbin and Braeside are full of businesses that combine an office with a warehouse or production floor. Those sites need two kinds of cleaning: a careful office clean in the front and a practical, safety-aware clean of amenities, lunchrooms and floors out the back. Our crews here handle both, and know to work around forklifts, shift changes and site inductions.

Cranbourne and Pakenham sit in two of the councils the Victorian Planning Authority lists as Melbourne's designated growth areas, Casey and Cardinia, where land on the city fringe is changing from rural to urban use over many years. New shopping centres, medical centres and business parks keep opening there. New buildings bring their own cleaning needs, from builders cleans before handover to regular cleaning once tenants move in.

West and north

Do you clean in the west and north?

Yes. In the west we cover Footscray, Sunshine, Altona and Werribee, and in the north Tullamarine and Epping. These areas mix logistics and industrial sites with busy town centres, new housing estates and a growing number of offices, clinics and schools.

The west and north carry much of Melbourne's freight and logistics. Tullamarine sits beside the airport, Altona and Sunshine have large industrial areas, and Epping is home to major food and distribution hubs. Warehouse-heavy sites like these often need both regular amenity cleaning and periodic floor and high-level work.

Footscray and Sunshine also have lively retail and hospitality centres, and Werribee and Epping are growth areas with many new homes and rentals, so end of lease cleaning is a regular request from renters and property managers there. Werribee and Epping also sit in growth-area councils, Wyndham and Whittlesea, where new estates, schools and town centres are still being built.

Distances in the west and north are longer between sites, so our crews there plan routes carefully and often pair a warehouse clean with an office or clinic nearby on the same night. For clients, that shows up as reliable arrival times rather than cleaners rushing between jobs.

Frankston corridor

Do you go down the Frankston corridor?

Yes. Frankston and the bayside suburbs leading to it are covered by a crew based in the south. Work there includes offices, shops and clinics in the Frankston city centre, industrial units in the surrounding business areas, and end of lease cleans for the many rentals near the train line.

Frankston is a regional centre in its own right, with a hospital, a university campus, a large shopping centre and a foreshore dining strip. That mix brings a steady flow of healthcare, education, retail and hospitality cleaning, and our southern crew plans its nights around it.

Suburbs further down the Mornington Peninsula are handled case by case. If your site is south of Frankston, send the address and we will confirm whether we can service it on a regular basis.

Everywhere else

What if my suburb is not listed?

If your suburb is not listed, we very likely still cover it. The area pages above are the busiest suburbs, not the edge of our map. Suburbs such as Southbank, Docklands, Hawthorn, Cheltenham, Mulgrave and Hallam are serviced by the nearest regional crew.

  • Docklands and SouthbankServed with the CBD crews, including towers with loading dock bookings.
  • HawthornOffices, clinics and retail along the main roads, served from the inner and eastern runs.
  • CheltenhamOffices, shops and industrial units near Moorabbin and Braeside.
  • MulgraveBusiness parks and corporate offices, served with the eastern crews.
  • HallamIndustrial and trade sites on the way to Dandenong and Cranbourne.
  • Other suburbsSend the address and we confirm the nearest crew and visit times.

For a site well outside our regular runs, such as a rural depot or a peninsula holiday park, we will tell you honestly whether regular cleaning makes sense or whether a periodic deep clean is the better fit. What we will not do is take on a site we cannot staff reliably, because a missed clean is worse than no promise at all.

Book

How do you check your suburb and book?

Send your address and a short description of the site through the contact form. We confirm which crew covers your suburb, suggest times for a free site assessment and send a written quote after the visit, usually within a day.

Multi-site businesses across several regions can have every location quoted together, with one contact and one monthly invoice.

Questions

What do people ask about service areas?

Two questions come up most often about where we work: whether there is a travel charge, and whether a particular suburb is covered. The answers are below.

Travel surcharge?
Not for sites on our regular regional runs, which cover most of Greater Melbourne. For an outlying site that needs a dedicated trip, any travel cost is shown as a separate line in the written quote before you agree to anything, so it never appears as a surprise on an invoice.
Do you cover my suburb?
Almost certainly, if it is within Greater Melbourne. The area pages list our busiest suburbs, but crews also work in the suburbs between them. Send your address through the contact form and we will confirm the crew that would look after you and the visit times available.
